Pro Electrical approached OllieDesigns looking to replace an outdated Wix website that was no longer supporting the business effectively. Despite having a strong reputation and growing customer base, the existing site suffered from poor user experience, limited visibility in search results, and an enquiry process that created unnecessary administrative work for the team. The project involved designing and developing a new WordPress website focused on improving usability, SEO foundations, and lead generation. Alongside the rebuild, a CRM and automated enquiry workflow were introduced to streamline lead management, helping the team spend less time on administration and more time delivering work for their customers.

Designing a Website That Works Harder

Pro Electrical's existing website was no longer supporting the business effectively. Built on Wix and managed internally, the site had become difficult to navigate, lacked a clear user journey, and wasn't generating the level of enquiries the business was capable of attracting. Despite having a strong reputation locally, their online presence wasn't reflecting the quality of their work.

The redesign focused on creating a website that could function as a genuine business asset rather than a simple online brochure. Service-specific landing pages were introduced to better communicate the company's offering, while a clearer information structure made it easier for visitors to find relevant services and take action. Particular attention was given to enquiry pathways, helping users move quickly from discovery to contact.

Alongside usability improvements, the website was built with search visibility in mind. Improved content structure, page hierarchy, and SEO-focused landing pages provided a stronger foundation for long-term organic growth while maintaining a design that felt familiar to the existing brand.

Building a Platform for Growth

The website was rebuilt on WordPress, providing Pro Electrical with a more flexible and scalable platform that could grow alongside the business. The build focused on performance, ease of management, and creating a system that the team could confidently update without relying on a developer for every change.

Beyond the website itself, the project included the implementation of a lightweight CRM solution designed to streamline the company's enquiry and onboarding process. Previously, customer information was collected through standalone forms and manually transferred into internal systems, creating delays and unnecessary administration.

By integrating website enquiries directly into the CRM, leads could be automatically organised, tracked, and followed up through structured workflows. This reduced manual handling, improved response times, and ensured new enquiries were consistently managed, even when the team were out on-site delivering work.
