Black & White Bridging required a modern website that better reflected their transparent, relationship-led approach to specialist property finance. Their existing platform had become difficult to scale and lacked the structure needed to support content marketing, lead generation, and the growing range of financial products offered by the business. Working in collaboration with Hydro, the project involved a complete website redesign and Webflow rebuild across approximately 160 pages, including 20 core website pages, 120 migrated blog articles, 20 migrated case studies, and 10 CMS collections. The result was a scalable marketing platform designed to simplify complex financial products, support multiple user groups, and provide complete control over future content growth.
One of the primary objectives was making specialist finance products easier to understand. Bridging loans, development finance, refurbishment lending, and commercial finance all involve complex terminology, eligibility criteria, and decision-making processes. The design challenge was creating a user experience that communicated this information clearly without overwhelming prospective borrowers, brokers, and property professionals.
The website was designed around clear information architecture, dedicated product journeys, and intuitive navigation pathways. Custom iconography, visual content blocks, comparison sections, and structured layouts helped break down complex information into more accessible formats. The result was a professional and trustworthy digital experience that supported both lead generation and customer education while maintaining flexibility for future expansion.

The website was developed in Webflow using a component-driven approach designed to support both immediate business requirements and long-term growth. Approximately 20 core pages were built alongside a CMS architecture consisting of 10 collections managing blogs, case studies, team members, careers, testimonials, resources, product information, and supporting content. This structure provided the internal team with complete control over content management without requiring ongoing developer involvement.
Alongside the core build, the project included the migration of approximately 140 existing content pieces from WordPress, consisting of blog articles and case studies. Custom functionality was implemented throughout the platform, including downloadable resources, dynamic product information, Trustpilot integration, and a bespoke bridging loan calculator designed to help prospective borrowers quickly assess potential borrowing scenarios. Combined with a scalable CMS architecture, responsive optimisation, and reusable components, the finished platform provides a powerful foundation for ongoing marketing, lead generation, and business growth.
One of the biggest challenges was making specialist finance products accessible to a broad audience. Bridging finance often involves complex lending criteria, varying loan structures, and terminology that can feel overwhelming to borrowers unfamiliar with the sector. The website needed to provide sufficient detail for experienced brokers and investors while remaining approachable for direct borrowers researching finance options.
To address this, the platform combined structured content with interactive functionality, including a bespoke bridging loan calculator that allows users to explore borrowing scenarios directly within the website. Alongside dedicated product pages, comparison sections, and educational resources, the calculator helps transform complex financial information into a more practical and user-friendly experience. This approach enabled the website to support both education and lead generation while maintaining clarity across multiple audience groups.
